Liebe Heide, lieber Erich,

ich bin wieder im Alltag angekommen und bin stolz und glücklich an Bord der Freydis dabei gewesen zu sein und dieses großartige Abenteuer gemeinsam mit Euch erlebt zu haben.

Ich freue mich auf ein erstes Wiedersehen am Freitag den 27.10. im Düsseldorfer Yachtclub.

Jakob Dirksen und Michael Matzerath werden auch nach Düsseldorf kommen und freuen sich ebenso euch beide wiederzusehen.

Ich werde die gigantischen Eisberge,

die riesigen Gletscher,

die Einsamkeit,

die unglaubliche Landschaft,

und die eiskalte, klare Polarluft

sicher so schnell nicht vergessen.

Der Song von Stan Rogers „Northwest Passage“ (1981) begleitet mich jeden Morgen auf dem Weg ins Büro.
